The Olympus RS31H footswitch is offered as a replacement foot pedal for the one supplied with the AS-7000 and AS-9000 Transcription kits. Control playback, FF and REW without taking your fingers off of the keyboard!

The RS-31H foot pedal comes with four configurable pedal buttons allowing the transcriptionists to create the most comfortable setup for their typing needs. The RS-31H can also be used with the new Olympus DS-9500 / DS-9000 together with the docking cradle CR-21. Also, with DS-7000 / DS-7000IT together with the docking cradle CR-15 to facilitate hands free Record, Play, Stop, Reverse, Save and Create New File via ODMS.

HANDS-FREE DICTATION MADE EVEN BETTER

Compatible with Olympus Dictation Management System (ODMS) software and leading third-party applications, the four-pedal RS-31H footswitch combines the convenience of hands-free transcription with advanced features and configurability.

The RS-31H is compatible with HID keyboards. It can be configured for use with third-party software by using Olympus’ free Configuration Tool (Download for Windows | Download for Mac), which enables users to program the RS-31H to alternate between the two operation modes. The tool also allows users to program footswitch pedals to mimic functions handled by keyboard shortcut keys/hot keys in third-party software.

The RS-31H is not compatible with previous versions of DSS Player Pro v4. It is only compatible with Olympus ODMS and is included in the AS-9000 and AS-7000 Professional Transcription Kit.

    Trustworthy foot pedal

    I recently started working from home as a transcriptionist and needed a trustworthy foot pedal to keep up with the neverending dictations.This pedal is sturdy, well-made, and my feet haven't hurt after long use. I can easily rewind, pause, and play back audio recordings because to the pedal's excellent responsiveness and usability. Additionally, the setup was very simple, and I was up and running in no time.
