I was just looking for a headset for transcription and this one was recommended by a colleague. I've been using the headset for about a month now and I have to say that it's great. The first thing I noticed is how comfortable it was. It's also lightweight, which makes it comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
I type for court reporters (from home) and spend the majority of my time in front of computers, especially now because the attorneys are trying to catch up on lost time due to COVID. I need something comfortable because of the hours in the day and night that I have headphones in my ear. These headphones are super comfortable and I can tell they are durable. They are like the old school headphones we used to get from Dictaphone with the sponges on the ear bud things. I do NOT like these new styled headphones with the hard plastic ear buds on them. They hurt my ears. I will be online shopping with you in the future for any products I need. Thank you soooo much for having great products at an affordable price. Great product. I use a transcriber every day and have purchased this headset many times. I like the fact that it goes under my chin rather than over my head. The only reason I have to replace them is because the plastic tube breaks in half - I guess it's from constantly putting them on and taking them off. I have no problem with the one speaker but I know people who do. If you put them on correctly, the sound is very even. I even use them to listen to CDs at home. Glad I can still get them!
Our office does a lot of transcription and we were sorely in need of new headphones. After searching what is available, these are the closest to what we were used to using and they work great. The sound is clear and the design is so much more efficient to use than any of the more widely available type of headphones. Delivery was much faster than anticipated and the price was the best we found. Thank you!
This is a good product. The only drawback is the "one speaker," Though the sound does travel through the underchin tube to the other ear, the sound coming through is faint. When ordering I assumed the volume would be equal in both ears. This will come in handy as a spare headset in a pinch.
